 LEL PLASTIC GROUP OF COMPANIES composed of four
companies, Medical Plastic Corporation, Hygienic Packaging
Corporation and Lotus Packaging Corporation and Primeplas
Packaging Corp. The manufacturing facilities of LEL Plastic
Group is located at San Vicente Road cor. South Superhighway
in San Pedro, Laguna. The properties occupying a 1.5-hectares
with ten (10) buildings exclusively for manufacturing bottles
for other industry like food, drug, cosmetic, water, cooking
oil, soy sauce, fruit juice and carbonated drink
application.
Medical Plastic Corporation was organized
in 1969, making plastic string to learn plastic extrusion  technology and at the same time to learn the extent
of plastic market. In 1970, the company adopted the European
manufacturing technology and process making PolyCarbonate (PC)
feeding bottles. This type of plastic can be boiled,
practically unbreakable and lightweight. With this, Medical
Plastic gained popularity being the pioneer to produce
PolyCarbonate (PC) bottles in the Philippines. The business
grew and expanded its horizon to produce Polyethylene (PE)
bottles for alcohol. This again, Medical Plastic made its name
as "ALCOHOL COUNTRY". At present, the company expanded its PE
market coverage for food containers (condiments, catsup,
vinegar, sauces, mayonaise and dairy products), Beverages
(juices and tea bottles), cosmetics and pharmaceuticals
(personal care, drug bottle and syrup, beauty
products)
 The company diversified its market coverage in
plastic when Hygienic Packaging Corporation was organized in
1992 pioneered in manufacturing PET bottles for water, cooking
oil, condiments and sauces. The company was granted by BOI a
certificate of Pioneer Status in manufacturing PET bottles for
coldfilling application in the Philippines. The company has
three Japanese single-stage (ASB-50) machines that can produce
special designs of 30 ml, 60 ml, 400 ml, 500ml, 600ml and 1
liter PET bottles. A special design PET jars, 225 ml, 350ml,
450ml and 500ml, for Mayonaise, peanut butter, jam and
dressing bottle. First again in the Philippines.
 In year 1998,
Medical Plastic Corporation aquired two (2) sopisticated and
highly technical fastest PET blowing machine in the world, the
Sidel Machine with French Technology. These two-stage blowing
machines can produce 4,800 bottles per hour or 3 million
bottles per month for Hot-filled that can resist up to
900C and Cold-filled applications, dancing with our
Chenshong PET System to produce the preforms. The machines are
computerize with censor to detect rejects and aided by robotic
technology. The bottles sizes varies from 250 ml, 320 ml, 350
ml, 500 ml, 750 ml, 1 liter up to 1.5 liters. First again in
the Philippines for hot filling application.
 Lotus
Packaging Corporation was organized in year 2001 using M-6 SC
model Urola extrusion, blowmoulding PE machine using rotary
type made in Spain with a capacity to produce 1 million PE /
PP bottles per month. It blows from 1 liter, 2 liters and 4
liters with handle upto 10 liters. This machine can be adopted
to multi layer to stand sterilization for oxygen-sensitive
product like catsup. The blowing system includes calibration
pins for every mould equipment with parison thickness
controller, automatic deflashing devices and an in-line
recycling system for the scraps during production.
 For the year 2002,
both Medical Plastic & Hygienic Packaging bought new
machines to increase their output capacity to support its
requirements. Medical Plastic Corporation acquired a sidel
SB06 Pet Blowing Machine which can produce 6 million bottles
per month. It is highly computerized  and of rotary type. A sleeve labeller and
shrink tunnel machine complete with conveyor from korea is
online to compensate for the high productivity of SIDEL SB06,
the fastest PET Blowing Machine in the world.
 While for Hygienic
Packaging Corporation, the year 2002 saw its production
capacity multiply four folds with the acquisition of 4 AOKI
Stretch Blow PET Machines from Japan. Each machine has an
output of 1 million bottles per month for bottle sizes ranging
from 30ml up to 500ml. These AOKI Machines can also be adopted
to blow PP Bottles.
